Our Mission

In keeping with Luke 10:27 and Matthew 28:18-20, it is our mission to ever be Loving God, Loving Others and Making Disciples.

By Loving God, we mean to bring glory to His name in all we do by worshipping Him as He has wired us, freely, and by knowing and keeping all that Christ commanded. To carry out this vision, we create an environment where there is freedom of worship, practical teaching and everyone who walks through the door is valued.

By Loving Others, we mean to love as Jesus loved, full of grace and truth. We will love one another no matter the skin color, economic status or ruling sins. This is Grace. We will spur one another on to good works, admonishing each other, restore one another and hold each other accountable. This is Truth. To carry this out, each person must unite with a Sunday School class or small group that will allow real relationships to form and Christian community to happen.

By Making Disciples, we mean to lead people to become mature followers of Christ by obediently sharing our faith, leading people to practical teaching, teaching people about private deovtions, providing opportunities for personal service as God provides providential relationships and by being intentional about pouring our lives into others, seeking opportunities for discipleship, giving and receiving. To carry this out, every ministry of the church, worship, Sunday School, Wednesday night programs and our outreach programs should be led with this mission in mind, sharing our faith, practical teaching, private devotions, and personal service.

This vision is not new. It is simply based upon the two great commandments and the great commission. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind and to love our neighbor as ourself. We are to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that Jesus commanded.
